Experience

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Masters in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute (Berkeley, CA).

Prior to opening my own private practice, I provided mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families while completing my clinical training at Crisis Support Services of Alameda County.

I have developed my expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through coursework with the Beck Institute and through ongoing consultation with Deborah Efron, LCSW.

I have experience with clients facing a broad spectrum of issues:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Obsessive compulsive behaviors

  • Chronic health issues

  • Grief and loss

  • Relationship challenges

  • Transition from employment to retirement

  • Survivors of suicide and homicide

  • Homebound seniors with end of life issues

  • Elementary and high school students struggling with academic pressure, peer and parental relationships, anxiety and depression
